Operations Temporarily Halted at Dubai International Airport Due to Strong Storm
Dubai International Airport announced a temporary suspension of operations for 25 minutes on Tuesday due to a "strong storm," according to a statement released by the airport.
The airport has resumed operations since the temporary halt.
The statement also highlighted significant flooding on the roads leading to the airport and forecasted the unstable weather conditions to continue until the morning of the following day.
A spokesperson for the airport informed Gulf News that since 12:02 AM local time, 21 international flights and 24 domestic flights have been canceled, in addition to the diversion of three flights to nearby airports.
