Six-Party Arab Committee Discusses Ceasefire in Gaza, Humanitarian Aid, and Recognition of Palestinian State with US FM Antony Blinken
The foreign ministers of the Six-Party Arab Committee met with US counterpart Antony Blinken in Riyadh to discuss an immediate and complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The goal is to protect civilians and allow humanitarian aid access.
The group also discussed mechanisms to lift restrictions on aid entry and reviewed support for Palestinian state recognition and implementation of the two-state solution based on relevant international resolutions.
A group meeting was held with the participation of key officials from Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, UAE, and Qatar.
The attendees included Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, Palestine's Hussein Al-Sheikh from the Palestine Liberation Organization, UAE's Diplomatic Adviser Anwar Gargash, and Qatar's Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Khulaifi.
