UAE's Foreign Minister Urges Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza, Calls for Two-State Solution with Israel
On Thursday, as reported by the Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with Yair Lapid, the opposition leader of Israel, in Abu Dhabi to discuss the current situation in Gaza.
During their talks, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of reviving negotiations towards a two-state solution in Palestine.
He believed that such a resolution would bring about permanent peace and security in the region.
Moreover, Sheikh Abdullah called for increased efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
By doing so, he hoped to prevent the conflict from escalating and potentially spreading beyond the borders of the region.
He also highlighted the significance of providing aid to the people of Gaza and ensuring their safety and well-being.
