UAE and Bahrain Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Ties and Regional Cooperation
On Wednesday, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, welcomed his Bahraini counterpart, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The meeting took place at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters.
During their discussion, Sheikh Abdullah and Dr. Abdul Latif explored the strong fraternal relations between their two countries and brainstormed methods to strengthen Emirati-Bahraini collaboration at multiple levels.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain, which are continually deepening and expanding, and their significant role in promoting Gulf and Arab cooperation.
Moreover, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the importance of intensifying cooperation, coordination, and joint efforts in addressing the current regional challenges.
He underlined the need to contain any tensions that could potentially threaten the stability, security, and safety of the people in the region.
