Two Injured in Suspected Militant Attack Outside Jerusalem, Israeli Police Say
Israeli authorities report the arrest of a Palestinian suspect following a stabbing incident at a hotel near Jerusalem.
JERUSALEM: According to Israeli police, a suspected militant attack occurred outside of Jerusalem on Friday.
The attacker, identified as a Palestinian from east Jerusalem, allegedly stabbed several guests at a nearby hotel.
This incident marks the second such attack in the area within a week.Israeli paramedics were dispatched and evacuated two individuals, aged approximately 50 and 25, to a hospital for treatment.
Both victims sustained stab wounds to their torsos, with the older man being described as being in critical condition.
The suspect was promptly apprehended by Israeli police following the incident.This attack comes on the heels of a shooting that took place earlier this week, perpetrated by two Palestinians from the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
This attack resulted in the fatalities of six people within Jerusalem's borders.
