Three new confirmed Covid-19 cases were reported by the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health today, including a three-year-old boy from Turkey.
The boy arrived from Turkey without symptoms. He came to Hong Kong with his family, a 27-year-old who arrived on Turkish Airlines flight TK083, also with no symptoms. The 27-year-old family member was also infected. He received two doses of
BioNTech vaccines in the United Kingdom on June 27 and July 22.
Another confirmed case was a 24-year-old man who arrived from Egypt on flight QR818 last Thursday. He stayed at the Ramada Hong Kong Grand in Tsim Sha Tsui. He received two doses of Sinovac
vaccines in Hong Kong on March 18 and April 15. He tested positive for the L452R variant of the
coronavirus.
The center reminded citizens who have been to 208 Shek O Village in Shek O and Sunrise at Discovery Bay to complete compulsory testing in accordance with testing notices tomorrow.
