Soudah Development and Warner Bros. Discovery Collaborate to Showcase Soudah Region's Beauty and Culture through Three Documentaries

Soudah Development, a real estate company owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, has collaborated with Warner Bros. Discovery International to create three short films showcasing the beauty, culture, and heritage of the Soudah region in Saudi Arabia's southwest.
The focus will be on Soudah Peaks, a luxury mountain tourism destination in the Abha region, located 3,000 meters above sea level.

The documentaries will be broadcasted globally this summer on Discovery Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel, Eurosport 1 and 2, and international social media platforms.

Saleh Al-Oraini, CEO of Soudah Development, expressed delight over the partnership and stated that it is a significant step towards promoting Soudah as a unique luxury mountain tourism destination.

Warner Bros. Discovery is partnering with Soudah Development to create films showcasing the diverse fauna, flora, landscapes, and agricultural traditions of the Soudah region in Saudi Arabia.

Mike Rich, head of sports and lifestyle international brand partnerships at Warner Bros. Discovery, expressed excitement about the opportunity to highlight Soudah Peaks' unique appeal through their media platforms.

The collaboration follows a previous partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery and Saudi property developer Red Sea Global to produce a 45-minute documentary titled "Beneath the Surface: The Fight for Corals," which was released on Earth Day and focused on the work of Saudi free diver and environmentalist Salma Shaker and the resilience of Red Sea corals.

Soudah, a tourist spot in Saudi Arabia, is more than just a destination, according to environmentalist Hussain Asiri and local tour guide Mohammed Al-Malky.

They believe it's a sanctuary of tranquility and natural marvels that deserves global recognition and responsible tourism.

Asiri is optimistic that increased exposure through documentaries will lead to efforts to conserve the environment while showcasing its beauty.

Al-Malky emphasizes that Soudah's beauty is not just for locals to enjoy but is a global treasure that should be experienced by more people.
