Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh: Eid Al-Fitr Prayers Instructions - 15 Minutes after Sunrise, Prepare Mosques for Worshipers' Comfort
Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia, has issued instructions for Eid Al-Fitr prayers.
The prayers should be held 15 minutes after sunrise, according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar.
The prayers can be offered at open prayer grounds and all mosques, except those adjacent to prayer grounds and some town and village center mosques that don't typically hold Eid prayers.
The minister emphasized the importance of preparing early for the prayers, ensuring all necessary services such as maintenance, cleaning, and operation are in place, to provide ease and comfort for worshipers.
The minister has issued a directive to support the care of places of worship, following guidance from their leadership.
The goal is to ensure these spaces offer a spiritual and pious atmosphere for worshippers to perform their rituals.
