Donald Trump met with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, at the White House.
Accompanying the US president were key officials including US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
From the Pakistani side, National Security Advisor Lieutenant General Asim Malik was also present.The meeting covered discussions on strengthening bilateral ties through cooperation in trade, economic development, minerals and mining, artificial intelligence, energy, and emerging technologies.
Both parties emphasized their commitment to combating terrorism and exchanged perspectives on the increasing tensions between Iran and Israel.
