LONDON: Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met with Neil Crompton, the outgoing UK ambassador to Riyadh, in his office on Sunday.
The meeting marked the formal farewell ceremony for Crompton who has completed his tenure in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz expressed gratitude for Crompton's contributions to Saudi Arabia and extended his best wishes for future endeavors.
Upon departure, Crompton will be succeeded by Stephen Hitchen, who is set to take up the role of the new UK ambassador.In a past interview with Arab News, Crompton emphasized the strategic importance of Saudi Arabia as a 'key, indispensable partner' to the United Kingdom.
