Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo and Saudi Light and Sound Expo: Shining a Light on the Future of the Kingdom's Entertainment Industry

The Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo and the Saudi Light and Sound Expo started in Riyadh on Tuesday, showcasing the latest products, technologies, and innovations in the entertainment industry.
The three-day events aim to highlight the future of entertainment in the Kingdom and provide a platform for industry leaders.

The expos are open to the public and feature interactive experiences, creativity, and technological advancements.

Eihab Abourokbah, CEO of the Saudi Entertainment Academy, shared that the expos will offer a glimpse into the opportunities in the sector.

The events were inaugurated by Mohannad Al-Abbad from the General Entertainment Authority and are ongoing until Thursday at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center.

The SEA and SLS Expo, organized by DMG Events, opened on Tuesday at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The event includes panel discussions, presentations, and exhibitors showcasing innovative products in the entertainment industry.

GEA representatives were part of a VIP delegation that attended the opening.

The organizers aim to leave a significant impact on the entertainment industry in the region with this year's diverse and dynamic agenda.

Two significant deals are expected to be finalized during expos in Riyadh.

Invest Saudi, under the Ministry of Investment, will sign an agreement with Nowaar Entertainment to develop the live-events industry in the Kingdom.

Dallah Al-Baraka, a multinational corporation based in Jeddah, will partner with Europa-Park to provide consultancy, training, and equipment sales for the growth of the sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

SEA and SLS Expo, focusing on experience-based events and content development, are ongoing at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre until May 9th.

The SEA and SLS Expo, which runs until May 9th in Riyadh, showcases the latest entertainment and leisure offerings from exhibitors around the world.

Saudi Arabia, which has been undergoing an entertainment renaissance, will also present its latest offerings.

The Saudi Entertainment Academy, which is the only institution in the country training young Saudis in entertainment under various organizations, emphasized the importance of the expo to showcase their capabilities.

The Academy, a first-of-its-kind institution in the Kingdom supported by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), provides specialized courses for young Saudis to earn academic diplomas and gain employment opportunities in the rapidly developing entertainment sector.

The SEA Expo will feature experts from various public and private organizations, including Six Flags Qiddiya, Saudi Entertainment Ventures, Cruise Saudi, the Saudi Ministry of Investment, and the Royal Commission for AlUla.

The SLS Expo offers visitors the chance to explore specialist topics and technologies related to the entertainment industry, such as lighting, sound, event management, and virtual reality.

The entertainment industry in the Kingdom is rapidly evolving, with high-profile events and attractions like operas, festivals, theme parks, and cinemas raising the stakes in the country.

The SLS Expo in the Kingdom is seeing increasing demand for high-quality lighting, sound, and other event technologies.

Exhibitors aim to capitalize on this trend by showcasing their equipment and services.

Industry leaders will share insights on revolutionizing the sector in Saudi Arabia.

A key discussion will focus on developing local talent by addressing skills gaps in the entertainment industry.

The organizers encourage attendees to learn about implementing Saudization strategies and the role of graduate programs in fostering growth.
