RIYADH — In a significant diplomatic development, Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman held a meeting with Andriy Yermak, director of the Office of Ukrainian President, at his office in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The gathering marked an important exchange aimed at bolstering bilateral ties and addressing the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the current state of Saudi-Ukrainian relations, delving into areas of mutual interest.
They also focused on the most recent developments concerning the Ukrainian crisis.
A primary objective was to explore avenues for resolving the conflict and promoting peace and stability in the region.
Discussions covered a range of topics relevant to both nations.The Saudi delegation, comprising Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Chief of the General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili; Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Bayari; and Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, aimed to foster a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand.From the Ukrainian side, the meeting saw the presence of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and Advisor to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Col. Ali Bakirov.
Their participation underlined the significance placed on these dialogues by Ukraine.
