Makkah Meeting Aims to Draw Lessons from Successful Hajj of 2025
Meeting Focuses on Preparations for 1447 AH Hajj Season
Riyadh — Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal recently inaugurated a panel discussion meeting dedicated to the planning of the Hajj season in 1447 AH (2026).
The event was held under the patronage of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Emir, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.
The meeting centered on identifying lessons from the successful Hajj of 2025.Various senior officials from departments and agencies responsible for serving pilgrims participated in the meeting.
It was organized by the Principality of Makkah Region in collaboration with the Hajj Projects Management Office under the Pilgrim Experience Program, a key initiative within Saudi Vision 2030.In his opening remarks, Prince Saud bin Mishaal emphasized that the meeting aligned with the directives of the Saudi leadership, which places significant importance on delivering exceptional services to pilgrims.
He highlighted that providing a comfortable and seamless experience for pilgrims is a crucial responsibility.
The Deputy Emir called upon all attendees to build on past successes, plan effectively, and strive for a successful Hajj season in 2026.
He underscored the ambition to serve pilgrims with excellence.The meeting brought together representatives from over 40 government, security, and service agencies involved in the Hajj operations.
Participants reviewed action plans for the upcoming season, following a well-established tradition of initiating preparations immediately after concluding the previous year's event.
The discussions focused on developing new initiatives and programs to meet the leadership's aspirations and enhance cooperation among relevant entities.The meeting also addressed the utilization of modern technology to improve service quality, anticipate potential challenges, and ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims within the holy sites.
