Saudi Arabia's Preparations for Exceptional Expo 2030: Prince Faisal and BIE Chief Discuss Coordination
Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, held a meeting with Dimitri Kerkentzes, the Secretary-General of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), in Riyadh on Thursday.
The discussion focused on Saudi Arabia's preparations to host Expo 2030 in the capital city and coordination efforts to ensure a successful and exceptional exhibition.
Kerkentzes expressed the significance of meticulous planning to deliver a transformative World Expo in 2030 on his social media platform X.
The day before, Kerkentzes had met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Riyadh was awarded the right to host World Expo 2030 after overcoming challenges from South Korea and Italy during the November 2023 bidding process.
