Saudi Arabia's First Female Veterinary Graduates Honored on World Veterinary Day
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Ahsa honored the first female veterinary graduates from King Faisal University on World Veterinary Day.
The event, organized in cooperation with the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases, was attended by officials and stakeholders from the veterinary field.
The ceremony highlighted the ministry's dedication to supporting and empowering women and creating new job opportunities for them in the field of veterinary services.
Vets are essential in public health as they diagnose and prevent the spread of diseases affecting humans and animals.
The National Center, supported by the ministry, provides resources and mechanisms to help vets fulfill this role.
The center also aims to foster the growth of veterinary work and promote sustainable development in agriculture.
