Saudi Arabia's Aviation Sector Expansion: $100 Billion Investment, 100 Million Passengers, and 150 Destinations by 2030
Saudi Arabia's aviation sector is experiencing growth due to increased air traffic and investment interest.
Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, president of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, spoke about the sector's importance for economic growth and sustainable development at the Airlines Economic Growth Frontiers conference in Riyadh.
He highlighted the Kingdom's advancements in civil aviation under Vision 2030 and the National Aviation Strategy, which aims to make Saudi Arabia a leader in Middle Eastern civil aviation by enabling $100 billion in investments and leveraging private sector resources by 2030.
