Saudi Arabia and UK Discuss Strengthening Relations: Deputy Foreign Minister Meets UK Minister of State Andrew Mitchell
On Tuesday, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji met with the UK Minister of State for Development and Africa, Andrew Mitchell.
The discussion focused on topics of mutual interest and strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Neil Crompton, the UK's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, was also present at the meeting.
Later, Elkhereiji held talks with Sarah Montgomery, the British Special Envoy for the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa, and her delegation.
The conversation revolved around significant regional and international developments.
Additionally, Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Mitchell at the ministry's office in Riyadh to discuss various regional and international issues of mutual concern.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Mitchell is scheduled to meet with other high-ranking officials, including the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al Marshad, and Assistant Finance Minister and G20 Sherpa Abdulmuhsen Al Khalaf.
