Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong Sign MoU to Boost Judicial Cooperation and Exchange Legal Expertise
Saudi Arabia's Justice Minister, Walid Al-Samaani, and Hong Kong's Secretary for Justice, Paul Lam, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on judicial cooperation.
This agreement was signed during their meeting with the primary objective of enhancing legal frameworks and improving judicial systems in both regions.
Al-Samaani took the opportunity to showcase Saudi Arabia's legal advancements under the reign of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He highlighted significant reforms in the Evidence Law, the Personal Status Law, and the Civil Transactions Law.
The MoU aims to promote the exchange of expertise in various areas, including preventive justice, judicial training, and the organization of mutual conferences and events.
This collaboration is expected to deepen the legal relationship between Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong, fostering a stronger judicial partnership between the two regions.
