The award consists of several categories, including cultural research, artistic works, translations, and cultural personalities of the year from each country.
Additionally, there are categories for young researchers, creators, and translators to encourage youth involvement in cross-cultural communication.
An annual award ceremony will be held to recognize cultural achievements and winners in academic, cultural, media, literary, and artistic fields from Saudi Arabia and China.
The award aims to promote creative cooperation and cultural dialogue between the two countries.
Nominations can be submitted by individuals and institutions from both countries.
Saudi Culture Minister Prince Bader bin Abdullah stated that the award is essential for bridging cultural gaps and strengthening ties between China and Saudi Arabia through arts, literature, and academic research.
The ceremony will announce the winners in each category and honor the shared cultural talent of both nations.
A nomination form for an award will be available on the award website for submissions.
