Ministry of Health: 43 Recovered from Botulism Outbreak, One Fatality; All Cases Linked to Single Food Source
The Ministry of Health reported no new cases of food poisoning in the past five days, following an incident that resulted in 75 cases, including 69 Saudi nationals and six residents.
Fifty individuals were diagnosed with botulism food poisoning, with 43 recovered and discharged from the hospital.
Eleven individuals are in regular hospital rooms, 20 are in intensive care, and there was one fatality.
In total, 51 people are still receiving medical treatment.
