Riyadh: The Kingdom’s aid agency KSrelief recently distributed 3,989 food parcels to vulnerable individuals in
Afghanistan and Pakistan.
According to reports from the Saudi Press Agency, this move aims to support those affected by natural disasters and other challenging circumstances.
In
Afghanistan, 115 parcels were provided to Afghan returnees from Pakistan at Omari Camp, situated near the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar Province.
Meanwhile, in Pakistan, a total of 3,874 food parcels were delivered to flood-affected communities across several regions, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Haveli, Muzaffarabad, and Poonch), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Upper Dir and Torghar), and Punjab (Layyah district).
This initiative has benefited a total of 27,094 vulnerable individuals, as confirmed by KSrelief.
The distribution of these resources highlights the ongoing efforts to provide essential support to those in need across both nations.
