King Salman Discusses Regional Dynamics and Global Affairs with Cabinet, Calls for Israeli Ceasefire and Support for Palestinians
On Tuesday, King Salman held a meeting with the Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia, during which he updated them on the latest developments in regional and global affairs, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The cabinet reaffirmed the Kingdom's dedication to promoting security and stability both domestically and internationally.
Moreover, the Council of Ministers urged the international community to take action against Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza and to uphold the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.
They advocated for the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Additionally, the cabinet welcomed the outcomes of the second ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Central Asian countries.
This dialogue aims to strengthen cooperation and enhance relations between the two regions.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers expressed their pleasure at the upcoming special meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh, scheduled for next Sunday and Monday.
The WEF is an international organization that aims to improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders in collaborative discussions and initiatives.
