Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan married Saudi Arabian software engineer Rajwa Al-Saif in a grand ceremony on Thursday, in a union that promises to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The wedding, held at Zahran Palace, was attended by state leaders and officials from friendly countries, including Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, and Prince William of Wales.

The official celebrations of the royal wedding got underway, with the essence of Jordanian heritage being emphasized through customs and traditions that adorned Jordanian weddings.

The joyous occasion was marked by mesmerizing poetry, enchanting melodies, and jubilant songs, all of which highlighted the nation's collective identity.

Prince Hussein, the groom, was born on June 28, 1994.

He is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, and was chosen as crown prince in 2009, when he was 15 years old.

He holds a degree in international history from Georgetown University and the British Military College Sandhurst.

The bride, Rajwa Al-Saif, was born on April 28, 1994, in Riyadh.

She is the daughter of Khaled Al-Saif, the founder of Al-Saif Engineering Contracting Company, and Azza bint Naif Al-Sudairy.

Al-Saif studied architecture at Syracuse University in New York, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2017.

She later earned an undergraduate degree at the Institute of Design and Merchandise in Los Angeles.

The Jordanian Royal Court stated that Al-Saif is an avid horseback rider and enjoys handicrafts.

She speaks Arabic, English, and French fluently.

The wedding has been a source of joy for the people of Jordan, who have embraced the union as an opportunity to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia.
