HR Ministry Inspectors Detect Midday Work Ban Violations
Inspection teams from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development conducted over 17,000 field visits across the Kingdom to ensure compliance with the decision banning midday work.
RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has been actively conducting inspection campaigns to enforce the ban on midday work under the sun in Saudi Arabia.
These efforts have led to the detection of 1,910 violations against non-compliant establishments from June 15 until August 26.
During this period, more than 300 reports were received and addressed within the specified timeframes.
The MHRSD has been working closely with the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health to intensify awareness campaigns, publishing informational materials aimed at enhancing awareness among workers and establishments about occupational safety and health standards.
This is part of a larger effort to ensure the safety and well-being of workers in accordance with established requirements.
The Ministry emphasizes the importance of taking preventive measures during peak summer hours as part of an integrated system promoting a preventative culture, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols, and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve work environments and enhance occupational safety.
