Hezbollah Announces Two Members Killed in Clashes with Israeli Army; Israeli Army Confirms Elimination of 'Significant' Hezbollah Members
Hezbollah reported two members, including an engineer for their air defense forces, were killed by Israeli fire in Lebanon.
The Israeli army claimed they eliminated "two significant" members of Hezbollah.
Cross-border exchanges of fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army have increased since Hamas's attack on Israel in October.
Hezbollah has stepped up rocket attacks on Israeli targets.
The engineer was killed in a drone strike in the Abu Al-Aswad area near Tyre, 35 km from the border.
On Tuesday, Hezbollah reported that two of its fighters had been killed, one overnight and one in the morning.
The Israeli army claimed to have killed "two significant terrorists in Hezbollah's aerial unit" during the same timeframe.
The previous Sunday, Hezbollah shot down an Israeli drone, and both sides acknowledged the incident.
Since October 7, at least 378 people have been killed in Lebanon, with the majority being Hezbollah fighters, but also 70 civilians.
Israel reported 11 soldiers and eight civilian deaths on their side of the border.
