Gates Foundation Establishes Regional Hub in Saudi Arabia, Partners with Misk Foundation to Empower Youth
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is opening its first regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the Mohammed Bin Salman Non-Profit City.
This announcement came with the unveiling of a strategic partnership between the Gates Foundation and the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk), aimed at increasing youth engagement in the non-profit sector.
The new office will serve as a hub for the Gates Foundation's activities in education, health, and technology across the region.
The collaboration is part of a broader agreement signed by Misk CEO Dr. Badr Al Badr and Joe Cerrell, managing director of the Gates Foundation for Europe, Middle East, and East Asia, to empower Saudi youth and foster a conducive environment for impactful global outcomes.
The Misk and Gates Foundations have formed a partnership to enhance opportunities for youth and launch global programs.
By collaborating, they aim to create a platform for sharing resources, offering training, and developing programs within Mohammed Bin Salman Non-Profit City's advanced facilities.
