Flynas Plane Skids Off Runway at Riyadh Airport, No Injuries Reported
A Flynas plane from Doha veered off the main runway while landing at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport on April 28 at 7:34 pm.
No injuries were reported among the passengers.
The plane, identified as Flynas flight XY 224, came to a stop in the adjacent tarmac, having passed through the Runway Safety Area.
The plane eventually made it to the designated taxiway, and passengers were safely disembarked and checked by airport management.
No reported damages.
An Airbus A320 operated by Flynas skidded off the runway upon landing at the airport, causing the plane to collide with a signboard.
Thankfully, there were no injuries among passengers.
The airport management is completing regulatory procedures.
The National Road Safety Center has begun investigating the cause of the incident, collecting information for their investigation.
