Filipino Conjoined Twins Arrive in Saudi Arabia for Potential Separation Surgery: Royal Welcome and Humanitarian Support
Filipino conjoined twins, Akhizah and Ayeesha Yosoph, arrived in Riyadh on a Saudi evacuation plane arranged by the Ministry of Health.
They were transferred to King Abdullah Specialized Children's Hospital for assessment by a medical team to determine the feasibility of a successful surgical separation.
The twins' arrival was in line with the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah expressed gratitude to the King and Crown Prince for their support.
Dr. Al Rabeeah, head of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program and medical team, praised the support and care given to the program and humanitarian efforts.
The program is significant on a global scale and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goal of enhancing healthcare services.
The twins' parents, Akhizah and Ayeesha, expressed gratitude to King Salman and the Crown Prince for their welcome and hospitality.
They prayed for the Saudi leadership's protection and the Kingdom's security and safety.
