Emir of Kuwait's Two-Day State Visit to Jordan: Warm Welcome, Formal Discussions, and Banquet
The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited Jordan for a two-day state visit.
His plane was greeted by Jordanian F-16 fighter jets and he was warmly received by King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah at Marka Airport.
An official welcoming ceremony took place, and the emir and king held formal discussions at Basman Palace to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
Sheikh Mishal of Kuwait congratulated King Abdullah of Jordan on the 25th anniversary of his coronation and praised Jordan's progress under his leadership.
The meeting, attended by top officials from both countries, resulted in Sheikh Mishal receiving the Al-Hussein Necklace, Jordan's highest civilian medal.
The occasion concluded with a banquet hosted by King Abdullah in honor of Sheikh Mishal and his delegation, celebrating the strong relationship between Kuwait and Jordan.
