RIYADH: The Djibouti Embassy in Riyadh decorated the Cultural Palace to celebrate its national day, honoring the 48th anniversary of Djibouti's independence.
Ambassador Dya-Eddine Said Bamakhrama hosted an official reception at the venue, with Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Sultan bin Salman in attendance.The event brought together numerous dignitaries, including ambassadors, business leaders, media professionals, artists, and members of both Djibouti and Saudi communities.In his speech, the ambassador reviewed the progress made by Djibouti over the past five decades.
He highlighted achievements in security, stability, and sustainable development while emphasizing the strong fraternal relations between the two countries' leadership and people.Additionally, the ambassador reaffirmed Djibouti's firm support for the Palestinian cause, advocating for the restoration of their rights and an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
This position aligns with Saudi Arabia's stance on the two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.The ambassador also emphasized Djibouti's commitment to a peaceful and diplomatic approach.
