DCO Participates in Islamic Summit Conference in Banjul, Reinforcing Commitment to Digital Cooperation and Development
The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), which focuses on shaping the global digital economy, will participate in the 15th Islamic Summit Conference in Banjul, Gambia.
DCO Secretary-General Deemah Al-Yahya will lead a delegation at the event, which runs from Saturday to Sunday and is organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to enhance cooperation among Islamic countries.
Al-Yahya stated that DCO's involvement in the conference demonstrates their commitment to reducing the digital divide and accelerating digital transformation through multilateral action, involving public, private sectors, civil institutions, international and regional organizations.
This aligns with DCO's goal of digital cooperation for comprehensive and sustainable development in the global digital economy.
Al-Yahya, a delegate from an unspecified country, plans to discuss various topics at the "Promoting Unity and Solidarity Through Dialogue for Sustainable Development" conference.
The conference covers political, economic, social, cultural, technological, media, law, social affairs, administration, and finance issues.
