School will be the academy's global partner for hospitality training, starting with a digital program in early July.

The academy aims to be a leading hub for tourism sector employees, providing memorable experiences for international visitors.

AlUla, an ancient oasis with a 7,000-year history, is being developed as a global tourist destination by Saudi authorities.

The Royal Commission announced the establishment of AlUla Academy in Saudi Arabia, which will feature four major heritage sites and various visitor experiences.

These experiences allow tourists to engage with the region's heritage and culture, as well as enjoy wellness offerings, nature, arts, and embark on a journey of discovery.

The academy is a pioneering venture in tourism and will contribute to creating 1.3 million jobs for Saudi citizens as part of the Development and Diversification Plan under Vision 2030.

Philip Jones, chief tourism officer of the commission, emphasized the importance of learning centers like AlUla Academy in creating employment and maintaining high-quality visitor experiences while preserving an authentic Saudi essence.

The AlUla Academy was launched with the goal of accelerating skills development in both physical and digital areas to improve the quality and efficiency of professional training in the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Anita Mendiratta, a special adviser to the UN Secretary General at the UN World Tourism Organization and a member of the Royal Commission Advisory Board, emphasized the importance of authenticity and community engagement in AlUla's development.

She highlighted the organization's commitment to improving visitor experiences by investing in skills development and delivering services to international standards while preserving the unique essence of AlUla's environment, culture, and history.

The AlUla Academy has partnered with Hotel.
