Al Ahli have completed the signing of 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder Matheus Gonçalves from Flamengo on a contract running until 2027, as the Jeddah club continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Gonçalves impressed last year with Flamengo, featuring in 18 matches where he created 15 scoring chances and netted five goals, showcasing his flair and confidence with 66 successful dribbles.
Al Ahli confirmed that the deal aligns with their strategy of acquiring young, dynamic talent to bolster both domestic and continental ambitions this season.

They have also secured French prodigy Valentin Atangana from Stade de Reims and signed defender Zakaria Hawsawi on a season-long loan from Al Raed.
