The Indian Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has collaborated with Indian ministries and Saudi agencies to create a comprehensive operational plan for facilitating a smooth Hajj experience for Indian pilgrims.

A new smart app, Haj Suvidha, has been developed to simplify the application process and address grievances.

The first two flights carrying 4,000 pilgrims arrived on the first day, with eleven more expected throughout the day.

A Bangladeshi Hajj flight carrying 415 pilgrims arrived safely in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday.

The country's ambassador, Mohammad Javed Patwary, welcomed the pilgrims at the airport, expressing satisfaction with the smooth services provided under the Makkah Route Initiative.

Approximately half of the Pakistani pilgrims for the Hajj journey will utilize government schemes, while the remaining will go through private tour companies.

The Pakistani government has prepared accommodations and essential services for the pilgrims, including a medical mission consisting of 500 medical staff.

The first group of pilgrims from South Africa arrived in Jeddah on Thursday.

Hajj is anticipated to commence around June 14 and conclude on June 19.
