Saudi Ministry of Interior Enhances Digital Services on Absher Platform
Expansion of online services aims to improve efficiency and convenience for citizens, residents, and visitors.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior has recently launched a series of new digital services through its Absher platform.
The initiative, inaugurated by the Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, falls under the guidance of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior.
This launch occurred during the 'Digital Transformation Forum: Technology and the Future', held at the Public Security headquarters in Riyadh.The updated services on the 'Absher Individuals' platform now include options for transferring vehicle ownership to businesses, as well as new features for air rifle permits such as transfer and renewal capabilities.
On the business side, enhanced offerings through the 'Absher Business' portal comprise an 'Accident Report' service and various functionalities aimed at streamlining rock-cutting operations like cancelling specific permits and adding new materials.This advancement is part of the Ministry's broader strategy to advance digital transformation, enhance the quality of life for its citizens and residents, and simplify procedural processes.
By implementing these automated services, the Ministry seeks to decrease in-person visits while saving time across security sectors.
