Riyadh: The Saudi cabinet has underscored its commitment to addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, highlighting ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire, facilitating relief and aid distribution, and promoting the two-state solution.
This emphasis was made during a recent session chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The meeting also addressed communications from Russian President Vladimir Putin and discussions with Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh.The cabinet's focus included reviewing developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, reiterating support for the joint statement issued by Saudi Arabia and Italy's foreign ministers.
This statement calls for an immediate end to hostilities in Gaza, condemns measures that undermine the two-state solution, and reaffirms both countries' dedication to achieving a just, comprehensive, and secure peace in the Middle East.
