Saudi Arabia's Beverage Industry Renaissance: Kinza Drinks Leading Local Shift with Innovative, High-Quality Alternatives

The CEO of Kinza Drinks, Bandar Okrin, reported that consumers in Saudi Arabia are shifting from traditional soda drinks to locally produced alternatives due to their high quality.
This trend is leading to a revival in the beverage industry in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on innovation and quality.

The Saudi Food Show, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors from 97 countries, is showcasing food and beverage products and services at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center until May 23.

Kinza Drinks, a locally produced carbonated beverage by Al-Jameel International, has gained popularity among locals since its introduction in 2022.

Kinza's presence as the "category beverage sponsor" at the event fosters pride and support for local businesses.

The Saudi food and beverage sector is projected to grow at a rate of 3.44% annually, reaching $27.83 billion by 2029, making it an attractive market for local and international players.

Kinza, a beverage company, aims to disrupt the industry and expand its presence in the GCC countries (Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait) as well as in Jordan, Sudan, Libya, Tanzania, and Senegal.

Kinza's goal is to establish a strong market presence and become a global household name with innovative beverage products catering to various tastes and preferences.

They plan to achieve this through effective distribution and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Kinza showcased their new flavors at the SFS event, including pomegranate, berries, Saudi cocktail, carbonated water, diet cola, and zero lemon.

These new varieties will be available in all designated stores within two weeks.

Kinza is part of the Made in Saudi Program, which supports Saudi national products and contributes to the Kingdom's economic growth and Vision 2030.
