Saudi Arabia's Asir Region Partners with Almosafer to Boost Tourism and Attract 9.1 Million Visitors by 2030
Saudi Arabia's Asir region is working with travel company Almosafer to boost tourism and make it a global destination.
They signed a partnership agreement with the development authority to utilize Almosafer's expertise and services to attract visitors and create unique experiences.
Both parties aim to establish Asir, located along the Red Sea coast, as a year-round tourism destination.
Hashim Al-Dabbagh, acting CEO of Asir Development Authority, stated that this partnership comes at an important time as they are increasing efforts to promote the region to domestic and international travelers.
Almosafer, a Saudi Arabian travel tech company, and the Asir Development Authority have announced a partnership to promote tourism in the Asir region.
The collaboration includes comprehensive training, marketing efforts, and integrating Asir's offerings onto Almosafer's digital platforms.
Almosafer's extensive reach and experience in the Kingdom will help introduce the region to both regional and global tourists.
The partnership aims to showcase the diversity of Asir's tourism sector, create memorable experiences for travelers, and positively impact the local economy.
Almosafer, as the national champion of tourism in Saudi Arabia, supports the Kingdom's Vision 2030 tourism agenda and is well-positioned to unlock the potential of Asir's tourism sector.
Prince Turki bin Talal, chairman of Aseer Investment Co. and governor of the Asir region in Saudi Arabia, announced the company's plans to make Asir the top tourist destination in the kingdom during the Public Investment Fund's second Private Sector Forum in February.
With Saudi Arabia investing $1 trillion in its tourism sector as part of Vision 2030, Asir aims to increase its current tourism numbers and attract 9.1 million tourists by the end of the decade.
Prince Turki pledged to work closely with partners to achieve this goal.
