Saudi Arabia makes progress in 'Training' and 'Gender Balance'
Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) revealed on Monday that Saudi Arabia has made progress in classification of international indicators in the fields of "Training" and "Gender Balance".
MHRSD also showed in an infographic that the Kingdom has reached the 16th rank in the indicator of workers' motivation.
With regard to Saudi Arabia's progress in the field of training, the Kingdom has advanced, according to the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook (WCY) issued by IMD University, by 22 places in the employee training index, achieving the 14th position globally.
Saudi Arabia also advanced 12 ranks in the vocational training index, achieving 9th place in the world, MHRSD said.
As for the field of gender balance, according to the Global Gender Gap Report issued by the World Economic Forum, MHRSD indicated that Saudi Arabia has advanced 10 ranks in the index of equal wages for similar work, thus achieving the 16th place in the world.
Moreover, the Kingdom also advanced 12 places in the indicator of the percentage of women’s participation in the workforce.
