Russia launched a significant attack against Ukraine overnight, deploying 85 drones and a ballistic missile across various frontline territories.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, which disclosed this information through the Telegram messaging app, these targeted regions included Sumy, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that their air defense units successfully intercepted and destroyed 61 of these attacking drones.
Additionally, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces mentioned in its morning report that there were 139 engagements along the front lines over the past day, indicating ongoing conflict activities.
