PwC Unveils State-of-the-Art Regional Headquarters in Riyadh's Laysen Valley

Professional services firm PwC reaffirms commitment to Saudi Arabia with a new 22,400 sq. meters headquarters in the Kingdom's capital.
RIYADH: Professional services firm PwC has inaugurated its cutting-edge 22,400 sq.

meters regional headquarters in Laysen Valley, Riyadh, solidifying the city's reputation as an emerging business destination.

The unveiling occurred during PwC’s annual partners’ meeting in Riyadh on September 10th, emphasizing the company’s dedication to Saudi Arabia across various domains such as investment in people, innovation, and infrastructure.

The regional headquarters program in Saudi Arabia has been successful in attracting international firms over the past few years.

According to reports from March by the Saudi Press Agency, approximately 600 international companies have established their bases within the Kingdom.

These include notable names like Northern Trust, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Deloitte, among others.

The program offers a 30-year corporate tax exemption, withholding tax relief, and regulatory support, aiming to position the Kingdom as a regional business hub for multinational corporations.

Riyadh Al-Najjar, PwC Middle East chairman of the board and Saudi country senior partner, highlighted that the new headquarters is not just a physical structure but an investment in the future.

It has been designed to empower employees, facilitate client services, and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

This milestone marks a significant chapter in PwC's journey in Saudi Arabia, illustrating its commitment to the Kingdom's transformation.

The Riyadh headquarters boasts what is described as the largest Experience Center in the Middle East, operating under the slogan 'ElDar Darak,' meaning ‘our home is yours.’ The center functions as an inclusive space for innovation and ideation where clients, government entities, and partners collaborate to create solutions, test prototypes, and design transformative experiences.

Additionally, the headquarters houses a forensics lab, PwC Academy, Majlis, and wellness-focused spaces, establishing itself as Riyadh's most advanced professional services hub.

PwC employs over 2,600 professionals in Saudi Arabia, of which 56% are Saudi nationals, reflecting its commitment to Saudization.

Over the past three years, more than 2,400 Saudi nationals have joined PwC through its training programs, with a significant percentage of female nationals already on leadership development pathways.

Initiatives such as Hemam 2.0, aimed at accelerating youth skills development, and Foundation for the Future, which prepares graduates for leadership roles, demonstrate the firm's long-term investment in the Kingdom’s human capital.

The company notes that Saudi Arabia hosts one of PwC’s largest alumni networks, with many nationals leading across various sectors such as government, business, and cultural institutions.

The commitment extends beyond service provision to developing talent, investing in infrastructure, and supporting the Kingdom's transformation for lasting value.
