Riyadh - The Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday that the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) plans to donate 1.65 million barrels of crude oil to the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to the report, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between SFD and Syria's Ministry of Energy, outlining terms of this grant.
The financial assistance aims to improve the operational efficiency and financial sustainability of Syrian refineries.
This move is expected to contribute positively to economic development within the country, addressing specific economic challenges facing Syria, as stated by SPA.
