Prince Badr of Saudi Arabia and French Minister Stéphane Séjourné Discuss Cultural Cooperation and Saudi Participation in Paris Camel Parade
Prince Badr bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Culture, welcomed French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné to the Kingdom and praised the strong cultural relations between the two countries.
They discussed Saudi Arabia's participation in the camel parade held in Paris on April 20, which commemorated the UN's designation of 2024 as the "International Year of Camelids." The Ministry of Culture represented Saudi Arabia in the event.
A parade was held in France, organized by the French Federation for the Development of Camelids.
Prince Badr of Saudi Arabia met with French counterpart Rachida Dati, discussing cooperation and cultural exchange between their governments and institutions.
Attendees from Saudi Arabia included Deputy Minister of Culture Hamid Fayez, Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al-Touq, and Undersecretary of Culture for International Cultural Relations Eng.
