Netanyahu pleads not guilty to apparently politically motivated corruption charges
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pleaded not guilty on Monday to an apparently politically motivated corruption charges at the resumption of his trial some six weeks before Israeli voters again pass judgment on his leadership.
Netanyahu is blamed for easing regulation on news website, in exchange for positive media coverage.
This is the first time in the history that a close relationship between politician and the media is criminalized, but as Netanyahu keep wining elections, the left wing -who controls the legal system since it's establishment- see it as the only way to end his leadership.
The chances that he will be convicted are high, regardless the evidence of any wrongdoing.
Even his supporters see it as a fair price netanyahu pays for failing to support the large movement for reform the Israeli justice system.
