The Makkah Health Cluster is participating in the Global Health Exhibition to showcase its AI-driven health innovations and expert contributions from around the world.
RIYADH: The Makkah Health Cluster is taking part in the Global Health Exhibition, running from Oct. 27 to 30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme "Invest in Health".
The event gathers health innovations and experts from over 130 countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency's report on Sunday.
The cluster presents its iSelfie project, which leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and photoplethysmography to accelerate patient assessments by 70%.
This results in a reduction of time per patient from seven minutes to just two minutes in emergency departments.
The smart vital signs project is set to be implemented across 14 hospitals and 15 primary healthcare centers, promising to save SR120,000 ($32,000) annually by eliminating the need for Dynamap devices.
Additionally, it aims to cut nursing costs by SR15.3 million while optimizing workforce efficiency through AI automation by 50%.
The initiative is expected to maintain quality care standards.
These solutions are said to advance healthcare digitalization in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, enhancing access, efficiency, and self-care through the use of smart technology.
The exhibition provides a platform for health professionals with over 100 dialogue sessions and workshops focused on the future of healthcare, the role of AI, and the investment landscape in healthcare within the Kingdom.
