KSrelief Concludes 25th Volunteer Program at Zaatari Camp, Offering Vocational Training, Medical Services, and English Courses to Syrian Refugees
The Saudi aid agency KSrelief recently completed a volunteer training program at Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
The week-long program involved 23 volunteers who assisted over 900 Syrian refugees.
In collaboration with the Technical and Vocational Training Corp. and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the program offered training in tablet and mobile phone maintenance, sewing and embroidery, ceramics, pottery, carpentry, English language courses, and interactive science courses in chemistry and physics.
Additionally, activities were provided to improve children's creative and social skills.
KSrelief, the humanitarian arm of the Saudi Arabian government, organized a camp providing various services to refugees.
The camp included medical clinics specializing in ophthalmology, dermatology, diabetic foot care, and physical and occupational therapy.
Workshops were held on wheelchair maintenance and repair, as well as medical equipment.
This initiative, a volunteer program by KSrelief, highlighted the significance of volunteer work.
