At an exclusive event in Dubai, HONOR introduces the HONOR Magic V5 foldable smartphone alongside new devices, showcasing its commitment to pushing technology boundaries.
HONOR, a global leading AI device ecosystem company, has unveiled its latest innovation – the highly anticipated HONOR Magic V5 foldable smartphone.

The launch event took place at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai and featured the introduction of other devices from the brand, including the new HONOR MagicPad 3 tablet and HONOR MagicBook Art 14 2025 laptop.

This showcase underlines HONOR's dedication to advancing technology and enhancing user experience through its expanding AI device ecosystem.The theme for the event was 'Unfold New Possibilities,' which was embodied through interactive experience zones that demonstrated various real-life applications of the devices, such as travel convenience, durability assurance, AI-driven user experiences, and innovative manufacturing techniques.

Attendees from across the Middle East and Africa were present to witness HONOR's continued efforts in pushing the limits of technology.Penny Diao, Chief Marketing Officer for HONOR Middle East & Africa, spoke at the launch event, emphasizing HONOR's philosophy centered around creating new possibilities and prioritizing user needs.

This approach has contributed significantly to HONOR becoming the fastest-growing tech brand in the MEA region, with a shipment increase of over 83%.

The popularity of HONOR devices is evident in their sales figures; for instance, the HONOR Magic V3 doubled its foldable shipments, while the HONOR 400 series grew by 200%, demonstrating the trust and preference of consumers for HONOR's technology.HONOR has been instrumental in driving innovation within the foldable smartphone market.

The company aims to make foldable technology accessible and integrated into daily life, achieving ultra-slim designs with devices like the HONOR Magic V2 at 9.9mm and further refining this with the groundbreaking HONOR Magic V5 at an astonishingly slim 8.8mm.

However, HONOR understands that slimness alone is not enough; thus, the HONOR Magic V5 addresses concerns of bulkiness, battery life, durability, and photography by offering a robust solution.At the event, the HONOR Magic V5 set a new Guinness World Record for the Heaviest Weight Lifted by a Suspended Foldable Smartphone.

This achievement not only underscores the device's strength and durability but also reflects its innovative design.

The smartphone is engineered with the HONOR Super Steel Hinge, tested to last through 500,000 folds, capable of lifting weights up to 100 kilograms under controlled conditions.

Additionally, it boasts IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance ratings, and a NanoCrystal Shield that offers 15 times more scratch resistance than conventional glass.In terms of photography, the HONOR Magic V5 features a 64MP telephoto lens that provides exceptional detail and clarity in various shooting scenarios.

It excels in low-light conditions to produce sharp and vivid images.

Its AI Super Zoom feature allows for up to 100x zoom without sacrificing image quality, making it ideal for capturing distant subjects.The smartphone is designed for active users like Noof Omar, an Emirati pilot and UAE Padel Tennis National Team Player.

Its slim and lightweight design makes it easy to carry in sports bags or uniform pockets.

Noof praises the Magic Sidebar feature, which offers AI-driven suggestions based on user activities, enhancing multitasking efficiency and ensuring reliable battery life throughout the day.The HONOR Magic V5 also introduces a new interaction method called 'Tap Tap,' allowing users to instantly launch the pre-installed Google Gemini AI assistant by double-tapping the back of the smartphone.

This feature streamlines access and boosts productivity without requiring complex app opening processes.HONOR ensures that the Magic V5 delivers superior performance and battery life with its partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform to deliver premium AI experiences.

The device comes equipped with a 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering all-day power alongside fast charging capabilities via HONOR SuperCharge.Furthermore, HONOR is promoting seamless connectivity across devices through its cross-platform file transfer and syncing technology, HONOR Share.

This innovation enables users to connect, share, and sync content between HONOR devices as well as iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac systems without the need for cables, apps, or an internet connection.Alongside the Magic V5, HONOR has launched the Magic Pad 3 tablet and MagicBook Art 14 2025 laptop.

The Magic Pad 3 boasts a vibrant 13.3-inch display with a high refresh rate designed to reduce eye strain and deliver smooth visuals.
