Hamas Delegation Leaves Cairo Ceasefire Talks, Places Blame on Israel
Hamas, a Palestinian militant group, announced on Friday that its delegation participating in ceasefire negotiations in Cairo had departed for Qatar.
In a statement, Hamas asserted that Israel had rejected the proposal put forth by mediators during the talks and raised objections to several key issues.
As a result, Hamas declared that the responsibility for continuing the negotiations now rests solely with Israel, implying that the group was prepared to stand by the proposal that had been presented.
