Hamas Armed Wing Releases Video of Israeli Hostage in Gaza

Jerusalem - The armed wing of Palestinian militant group Hamas has released a minute-long video featuring an Israeli hostage held in Gaza.
The footage, which came out on Friday, shows an emaciated and bearded man, identified as Evyatar David, inside a narrow concrete tunnel.
David, now 24 years old, was seized during the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, along with his friend Gal Gilboa-Dalal, while they were attending the Nova music festival in southern Israel.
Both he and his friend were among the 44 festival-goers abducted by Palestinian militants, resulting in the deaths of over 370 people.
In late February, Hamas previously released a video showing David and Gilboa-Dalal watching a hostage release ceremony from inside a vehicle.
Currently, out of the 251 hostages taken during the attack, 49 remain held in Gaza, with Israeli authorities confirming that 27 of them are dead due to malnutrition and other dire conditions.
The situation has escalated as international pressure increases for a ceasefire due to Israel's restrictions on goods and aid entering Gaza.
This has led to severe shortages of food and essential supplies, raising concerns over the welfare of the remaining hostages.
