Franco-Saudi Music Week Celebrates Cultural Exchange Through Jeddah Performances
JEDDAH: A week-long Franco-Saudi Music Week is highlighting cross-cultural dialogue through talks, performances and jam sessions.
A week-long music festival kicked off in Jeddah on World Music Day (June 21) and will continue until June 27.
Hosted by the French Embassy and consulate in Jeddah alongside various local and international organizations, the event aims to celebrate the rich artistic ties between France and Saudi Arabia.
Featured events include a DJ session by French artist SONGE at Siddharta Lounge by Buddha Bar, GUITARRAMA forum featuring artists such as Aqeel Hussein, and an open jam session with Karimouche.
The festival showcases a fusion of Eastern melodies, hip-hop, spoken word and beatboxing, highlighting the transformative power of music to build empathy and connection.
